Hmm…another prompt that will include a list.
Although the title is true, most of my day does involve watching the clock when I am at work. Having to keep track of things and do certain tasks at particular times. Being at home on days off is a different story. A lot of things I do at home have no need to watch the clock. I do find that I watch the clock out of habit at home though. Sometimes I find myself doing it so often that it works against me and demotivates me from doing something more productive. I need to get out of this slump that I am in…I believe it would involve changing some of those habits I have built and putting a timer to some of these activities that make me lose track of time. Or, do things I need to do in order to be productive while having one of my time wasting activities run in the background.

Activities that I lose track of time with are:
- Reading
- Any form of crafts (crocheting, etc.)
- Journaling
- Scrolling social media
- Playing time wasting phone games
- Watching Youtube
- Building Legos (still love to do this, it’s just more expensive now)
I do see some of these activities as negative things. I know I should change that mindset and see some of this as selfcare but I find I am not being at all productive on my days off and just lounge about doing any or all of these activates and not completing any activities that I need to get done. I need to turn these activates into rewards for completing tasks that need to get done in order to not feel overwhelmed and feel productive like doing the laundry, doing dishes, gardening, mowing the law, vacuuming the house, practically all my normal chores….maybe I need to change the way I use need and maybe more into wants…I do not know…I just need to develop the willpower to do my chores…
What activities make you lose tack of time?

YouTube! I can relate to that one. Once I start watching documentaries, it’s like I can’t stop!
