No Brainer

No contest, I would take my husband to Japan again.

We love the atmosphere of Tokyo and Kyoto. Would love to have the opportunity to book a ryokan (traditional Japanese inns) and visit some onsens (hot spring baths) again.

The food would be another reason that would keep us coming back. The desserts are great. The seafood is a bit overpriced but still good. The special dishes originating from specific areas of Japan are interesting and usually pretty good. My husband would love to stop at our favorite ramen spots and trying new ramen.

We also get a lot of exercise, through walking, when we go.

I also enjoy seeing the different and unique shrines and temples in Japan. I just started getting into paying respects and collecting goshuin (stamps representing proof of visit) from the temples and shrines.

Getting stamps from the train stations was also fun. Although, the promotion the country had put on had ended and not all stations had the stamp easily accessible or even available when we were last there.

Collecting unique pins and stickers is also fun, there are so many gacha machines with pins or keychains in the popular areas.

I like going to the stationary, pen, and craft stores and specialty shops.
